EAI / Middleware Architect
A major Swiss bank requires an Architect with proven experience in the design, implementation and operation of service based architectures in large and complex environments. Involvement covers all stages of project life cycle, from requirements capture through design, implementation and support. Experience on successful projects using EAI and middleware technologies is essential. The Architect will focus on planning, building and maintaining a component based application with multi channel Front Ends and integrating multiple systems. The needed skills include J2EE( IBM Websphere or BEA WebLogic), Oracle 9iAS, DB2, OS/390, SunOne, Microsoft .NET, Web Services, modelling skills, component based methodologies, UML, RUP, programming frameworks (Struts) analysis and design patterns. He/She will be a confident team leader for a group of junior architects and be comfortable with taking responsibility for reaching strict time and budget deadlines. Additionally be able to advise at senior management levels on IT function effectiveness issues such as cost, performance, perception and flexibility. Ideal candidates will have 10-15 years relevant experience, with 5 years architecture experience.
